It all started in 1976 when Trefil-Arbed, the steel wire rope manufacturer of the Luxembourg company Steel manufacturer ARBED (currently known as Arcelor-Mittal) founded K.S.C. to fulfill a vision of producing end connections of the highest quality in the fields of offshore and shipping for both contacts of the group’s steel wire rope producing factories as well as her existing and potential clientele through local supply and production.
Employing professional knowledge and support from her local manufacturing plants, K.S.C. quickly earned great reputation and has been operating in Rotterdam for years with several of the industry’s brightest and a modern machine park, completing project on site and onboard.
This lucrative formula has resulted in a clientele of high reputation and important cutting-edge building projects using more than a thousand tons of anchorlines and crane cables.
Besides her work in shipping and offshore the company also takes pride in successfully executing other high profile projects, such as the Willemsbrug in Rotterdam including the art piece “de Waslijn”. All of our cables for waterlocks and bridges are custom made and delivered promptly and with utmost professionalism.
In the 90’s both national and international Service Centers under the group were acquired by Memmingen based Pfeifer and in 2002 part of the company’s activities were carried on by the direction under the name Floatex K.S.C. B.V. while maintaining the same dedication and expertise.
In 2013 Hoist international took interest in K.C.S. and our company began a flourishing collaboration under the name K.S.C. International B.V.
We strive to be a leader and pioneer in the industry and set on providing the best solutions for at least the next 40 years as well.
